The Loafers: My contribution to The First Man in My Life
Sandra Martin, well-known literary  critic, has edited an anthology of original pieces about fathers and daughters for Penguin Canada. The First Man in My Life contains 22 narratives about a memory, a secret or an insight that made each contributor see her father in a new light or with a deeper understanding. The publication date is May 19, 2007, just in time for Father's Day. My contribution is a piece called The Loafers. [Excerpt from The Loafers...]

Seduction Makes the Best Seller Lists

In February 2006, Seduction made it to the best seller list in Holland.

By the second week in March (2005) Seduction was
• #3 on MacLean’s best seller list
• #10 on the National Post best seller list

Seduction Goes International

Dutch, German, French and Bulgarian translations will come out in the near future.

Too Close to the Falls Makes Best Seller and Award Lists

Too Close to the Falls was on the following best seller lists and was nominated for and won the following awards:

• On the Extended New York Times best seller list
• Holds Canadian record for Globe and Mail best seller's list — 104 weeks
• On the Boston Globe's best seller's list
• Short listed for Trillium Award
• Won Different Drummer's Award 2000
• On National Post's best seller list for over a year
• Listed in Globe top 100 books for 2000
• Short listed for the British YoungMinds Book Award

Too Close to the Falls was bought by Harper Flamingo in England and Australia and came out in the spring of 2003. The Australian Women's Weekly, the biggest circulating Australian women's magazine, selected Too Close to the Falls as their Book of the Month for March 2003. I toured England and Australia shortly afterwards.
